A New Day
A new day begins
the sun is out and the air is sweet
the birds are chirping
This day is such a treat
The Winter is almost over
Spring is in the air
My favorite time of the year,
a time in which I like to share.
I love to walk at this time
because there is life a new
It always takes away my sadness
and picks me up when I am blue.
Spring is coming,
and for me it is like a rebirth
I want to be a part of it,
to be filled with happiness and mirth.
So I wait around in this world
just so that I might see another Spring,
Because it is truly a wonder to behold
and I wouldn't want to miss it for anything.
